Description

This beautifully original textured ring is handcrafted using fair silver. The interior of this piece is given a smooth polished finish to contrast strongly with the natural matt white textured exterior.

Width: around 12 mm
Thickness: around 4 mm

I give the inside of the ring a smooth and polished finish to contrast strongly the natural matt white sand texture of the top.

I make this ring with fair silver, a standard that aims to improve the circumstances for miners. It drives back the use of harmful mercury during extraction, mined under strict international environmental standards to protect the local ecosystem. It advances the safety of the miners and ensures a fair share for all involved through a cooperative system. The cooperatives also ensure equal rights for women and men and prevent the use of child labour.
